Reservation Directions

The Student Memorial Center has a variety of rooms available to reserve for meetings, activities, and programs that support the educational mission of the University and enhance student life on campus.  Space reservations are limited to faculty, staff, and registered on-campus student organizations only, and requires at least 75% of attendees be from the MU community.  

External (Non-MU) groups may rent space on campus by visiting MU Conference Services.

Please review the reservation directions below that are relevant to your campus affiliation.  

All room reservation requests are made through our online platform, Ad Astra.

NEW SMC FACILITY FEE!  Effective July 1, 2023, University departments and affiliated programs will be charged a SMC FACILITY FEE to host events within the Student Memorial Center when 75% of event attendees are not from the MU community.
