Who is an International Student?
Navigating the Multiple Admissions Offices on Campus
IPS deeply appreciates the support of our campus community for our international students. We understand that it can sometimes be challenging to identify who is considered "international," especially in a nation as diverse as ours, where many citizens were born abroad, and our region is home to individuals who have been forced to flee their homelands.
We recognize that being referred to as "international" can sometimes be confusing or even discouraging for some individuals. To address this, IPS has developed resources to help the Millersville community navigate these nuances and approach conversations with greater understanding and sensitivity.

Data & Information Request Form
IPS receives many requests and tries to accommodate as many as can be managed alongside the regular work cycle and staff capacity. This request form allows us to optimize our ability to respond to requests while also providing clear guidance to data-seekers.
IPS staff are able to present in classrooms, clubs and organization meetings, and department meetings about studying abroad, internships/student teaching/social work abroad, as well as to present about the concept of internationalization and international education in general. To request a classroom, club or organization presentation, complete and submit the following form.
IPS maintains a database of Millersville University faculty and staff with interest and expertise in international topics, which we use to engage members of the campus community as participants of internationalization initiatives and activities. The International Index is an important tool to showcase the breadth and depth of international partnerships and experience of the MU community. Complete the index survey to be included.
