Summer 2018 Academic Calendar

Special Note

There are classes in all three summer terms that do not meet for the full term or their start and/or end dates fall outside of the ones listed here.  Because class scheduling varies, it is important to check the start and end dates for each class on the Web Schedules and also check the online Registration Guide (available on or after February 6) for drop/add and withdraw deadlines for these classes.

Summer 2018

4-WEEK SUMMER 1 (Courses meeting May 14 - June 8, 2018)

MAY 14 Summer 1 classes begin
Late Registration
MAY 15 Last day to drop or add a Summer 1 course
Last day to register for a course on a Pass/Fail or audit basis
MAY 16

W grade period begins.

The last day to withdraw from a Summer 2018 course varies depending on the course– a signed withdrawal card needs to be into the Registrar’s office in Lyle Hall by 4:30 PM on that day! See the online withdrawal card or registration guide for more information.
MAY 28 Holiday -- No classes
JUN 08 4-week Summer 1 session ends after last class

NOTE: The last day to change a Pass/Fail course to a regular grade is the last day the class meets.

9-WEEK SUMMER 1 (Courses meeting May 14 - July 13, 2018)

MAY 14 Summer 1 classes begin
Late Registration
MAY 15 Last day to drop or add a Summer 1 course
Last day to register for a course on a Pass/Fail or audit basis
MAY 16

W grade period begins.
