Our website contains much of the general information that is sought from our office and many of our processes have transitioned to electronic/online forms for your convenience.

Grades, Degrees and Graduation.

Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 are opened at this time.

Please note, once your graduation application is approved, your student account will be assessed the $30 degree fee which you will need to login to SAM to pay.

DO NOT Apply for Spring 2025 graduation or beyond at this time, that term is not opened and your application will be declined. When you register in November, you will add GRAD 999 (CRN 7102) to your spring 2025 registration. The application will open in early January.

Summer 2024 late degree applications are still being accepted. The summer term does not officially end until August 9, 2024. All summer completed degrees will be dated August 9, 2024 regardless of when your course ended. Degrees cannot be conferred mid-term.  Your audit may reflect 100% complete after your course has been graded. Degrees will be cleared beginning the week of August 19. Once your degree is cleared, your audit and transcripts will reflect the completed degree.

Transcripts and Mail.
While we continue to accept traditional, mailed transcripts and forms, it's generally no longer the fastest way for us to receive your important documents.  If possible, please have official transcripts sent electronically from your other institutions as we receive them faster and they are more easily tracked. Additionally, for transcripts from Millersville, please make any transcript requests electronically for official PDF transcript which will be electronically sent. Electronic transcripts allow us to provide faster, more efficient service.

Withdraw, Change of Major, Authorization for Transfer, and more.
Our office still provides all the same services that we always have; however, many can now be accomplished electronically without a physical visit to our office. The academic program change request (major/minor form) and withdraw from a course process have been moved to an electronic process in MAX and we are working to get as many other services transitioned in that manner as well, in the meantime, forms can also be printed or filled in Adobe PDF and scanned/emailed to us with proper approvals as an alternative to physically dropping them off.

SUMMER DEGREE CONFERRAL

All degree applicants for summer 2024 will be reviewed and conferred at the conclusion of the summer term with a degree date of 08/09/2024.

Degrees cannot be conferred prior to this date for summer 2024, regardless of when your coursework ends.

SUMMER (MAY 6 - AUGUST 9, 2024)

Most classes in the summer session do not meet for the full term. Please check the web schedule for your specific course start and end dates.

FRI AUG 9 Summer term ends
WED AUG 14 All summer grades due from faculty by midnight
FRI AUG 16 Summer grades available to students after 4:30 pm
MON AUG 19 Summer degrees will begin to be reviewed for conferral. MarAUDIT and unofficial transcripts will update when degree has been conferred.

 FALL (AUGUST 26 - DECEMBER 14, 2024)

Late registration online drop/add period begins online
MON SEP 2 HOLIDAY NO CLASSES and University Offices are CLOSED.
TUE SEP 3 Last day to drop or add a course online (by 11:59pm)
TUE SEP 3 Last day to submit a request to take a course on a pass/fail or audit basis (requests must be in the Registrar's Office by 4:30pm) 
WED SEP 4

W grade period begins. 

If course starts or ends outside of the regular Fall 2024 term (8/26-12/14), the withdrawal deadline will differ.  Please view the drop/add and withdraw page for more information.

ONLINE MAINTENANCE PERIOD NOTICE

Monday evenings between 6 pm-10 pm is a maintenance period during which some electronic forms may not be accessible/available.  If you are trying to access a form during this time, please try back again outside of this time frame before submitting a notice of form failure. This maintenance period applies to many of the forms and items accessed through MAX and the registrar's office.

NOTICE from the Office of Student Accounts

Students who register are responsible to drop any class they do not plan to attend. Failure to drop the class before the semester begins may result in charges and/or grades being posted to your records. Do not rely on the "drop for non-payment" policy to remove these classes.
