Current high school students who have been accepted to MU may apply to the Honors College in order to enhance their academic career.
Admission Directly From High School
Invitations to the program are extended to entering freshmen that have a GPA of 3.75 or higher, a combined SAT scores (optional) of 1200 or above in Reading and Mathematics and/or are in the top 10 percent of their high school class. Other motivated, interested freshmen and currently enrolled students are encouraged to apply for admission to the Director of the University Honors College. The Honors College accepts applications for admission until the freshman class is filled. Other motivated, interested incoming freshmen are encouraged to follow the link below to the online application.
Please note: Any student applying to the Honors College MUST FIRST apply to Millersville University for Admission AND be accepted by the University BEFORE clicking on the link below to apply to the Honors College:
To remain in good standing in the Honors College, students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 overall in the freshman and sophomore years, 3.2 overall GPA in the junior and senior years, and must have 3.35 GPA in Honors coursework at graduation.
Current high school students who have been accepted to MU may apply to the Honors College in order to enhance their academic career.
Millersville University students may apply to the Honors College if they have successfully completed a minimum of 15 credits and are recommended by a MU faculty member.
Transfer students may apply to the Honors College after being accepted to Millersville University.
