Oral History Project
Every Marauder has a story, and Millersville wants to hear yours!
Project Update (MARch 2025):
Every Marauder has a story, and thanks to the overwhelming response from our alumni, we have collected over 1,000 incredible stories! The Millersville Memories project was launched to capture and preserve the impact Millersville University has had on your lives. From unforgettable friendships to career-defining moments, these stories will soon be brought to life in a beautifully crafted keepsake book.
The story collection phase, which ran from July 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, has now concluded. We sincerely thank everyone who took the time to share their experiences and contribute to this historic project!
Making a Difference: $11,000 Raised for Students
Beyond preserving alumni stories, this project has made a direct impact on current Millersville students. Through book and merchandise sales, over $11,000 was raised, and we are thrilled to share that these funds will directly support the Millersville EPPIIC Student Compassion Fund. This fund provides emergency financial assistance to students facing unexpected hardships, helping them stay on track to complete their education.
Your participation didn’t just celebrate our history—it is actively shaping the future for Marauders in need. Thank you for making a difference!
What’s Next?
The Millersville Memories book is now in the proofing stage. PCI, our trusted partner for this project, is finalizing the editing and production process. We expect the book to be completed by late spring 2025, with alumni who placed orders receiving their books and merchandise in late spring to early summer 2025.
Did You Order a Book or Millersville Gear?
If you ordered the Millersville Memories book or any exclusive Millersville-branded merchandise (such as a blanket or pullover), your items are scheduled to ship once production is complete. We appreciate your patience and support as we finalize this special project.
PCI Partnership
With our limited resources, we couldn’t have taken on this initiative alone. Our partnership with PCI allowed us to collect, edit, and produce this collection of alumni stories efficiently. Please note that Millersville University has NOT sold your contact information or used it for outside marketing purposes. The information shared was strictly for this project to keep alumni connected to the 'Ville.
Stay Connected
Even though the story collection phase has ended, we always want to hear from our alumni! If you’ve recently moved or changed your contact details, please update your information so you can stay connected with Millersville and receive future alumni news, events, and opportunities.
Thank you, Marauders, for sharing your "hymns of praise and loyalty!" We can’t wait for you to see the final book and relive the incredible stories that make our alumni community so special.
