Margaret Thorwart, Class of '17
Margaret Thorwart, graduated with a bachelor's degree in public relations with athletic coaching and entrepreneurship minors, achieving PSAC Scholar-Athlete and NFHCA Scholar-Athlete status four times in addition to winning the NCAA Elite 89 Award in 2014.
After graduation, she earned a master's degree in communications studies from West Virginia University in 2018 and a certificate in Higher Education Policy and Student Affairs from West Chester University in 2020, where she served as a primary instructor and taught communication courses while also serving as a graduate assistant in the Office of Student Conduct, volunteering as an intern in the Parent and Family Relations Office, and advising students in the Academic Success Program.
In March 2021, she was named the team's assistant coach following a nationwide search led by head coach Shelly Behrens.

Charlie Parker, Class of '09
Charlie Parker, of the all-time greats in Millersville basketball, returned to coach under his former mentor Fred Thompson in 2013-14.
Since leaving Millersville in 2008, the two-time PSAC East Player of the Year and All-American has pursued a professional basketball career, playing portions of three seasons in the NBA Development League with the Reno Bighorns, Los Angeles D-Fenders and the Erie Bayhawks. Parker also played professional basketball in Iceland and Denmark.
As a Marauder, Parker led Millersville to the NCAA East Regional title game in 2006-07 and 2007-08. The 2006-07 club won the PSAC Championship and set a school record for win with 28. As a freshman in 2004-05, Parker helped the Marauders to the PSAC Championship game.
