SUSAN B. HARWOOD OSHA TRAINING GRANT
RECEIVE OSHA-FUNDED COURSES
Millersville University is partnering with The Occupational Safety and Health Administration to provide free training and education programs for employers and workers on the recognition, avoidance, and prevention of safety and health hazards in their workplaces and to inform workers of their rights and employers of their responsibilities under the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act. These short (2 – 3 hours) training courses focus on the most common work hazards including, but not limited to Slips, Trips, and Falls (STF) and Falls from Heights and Ladders. Other training topics can be offered based on need. These courses aim to help high-risk groups such as young workers and small businesses. These courses are funded by The Susan B. Harwood Training Grant, a grant originating from OSHA.
Training Location: Courses can be taken at The WARE Center or on-site at your facility
