Abstract: Striped Killifish (Fundulus majalis) have distinct morphological variation between males and females. Males have 15-20 vertical stripes on their sides, whereas females have 2-3 horizontal stripes. Previous work has also indicated variation in dorsal fin location, with females’ dorsal fin starting further back on the body. The project is focused on how body size and variation, such as number of stripes, can influence mating choice decisions.
