Abstract: Research suggests that COVID has had a negative impact on mental health (Hussong et al., 2021). The purpose of this study was to examine the prevalence of psychological disorders during COVID in college students. Students completed surveys regarding the prevalence of psychological disorders before and during COVID. Results indicated a high rate of psychological disorders prior to COVID as well as an increase in diagnoses received during COVID. Interestingly, rates increased significantly for anxiety and depression but not for eating disorders. The significance of these findings are further explored as well as the needs for mental health services in college settings.
