Oral Healthcare and Awareness at Nehemiah Center

Abstract: Thank you for taking time to consider this proposal. I, Christina Campbell,am seeking a grant to raise awareness of and provide dental healthcare tokids involved in The Nehemiah Center, a non-profit based in Manila,Philippines. It was founded by Ana and Chris Cozzone in 2016, seeking toempower street children to return to society. These Filipino children areformer street kids, many of whom require extensive dental care, and allneed basic oral healthcare. The objective of the Nehemiah Center OralHealthcare and Awareness Project is to teach the kids at Nehemiah aboutoral healthcare, raise awareness about and give instruction on proper oralhygiene, and provide dental hygiene cleanings as available given thefunds. Funding in the amount of $500 is requested to implement this projectand purchase appropriate equipment for proper long term oral hygiene.
