Abstract: The article offers the author's insights regarding their water infiltration activity with a group of students who were tasked to develop an engineering process to establish a stackable filter using the Earth infiltration model. Information on the materials and supplements used, the active participation and interaction of students, and the results of the filtration activity is also given.
