Career Mentoring for Second & Third Year Students
Receive career support and professional mentoring from experienced alumni mentors.
Mentor Collective is an online mentoring community. Millersville University has partnered with Mentor Collective to allow students the opportunity to participate in three online mentoring programs. Students register through Mentor Collective to be linked with a Millersville University alumni mentor or a Millersville peer mentor for one-on-one guidance and advice. Students are paired with someone invested in their success — a person ready to listen, inspire, help navigate challenges and recognize opportunities. Students will learn how to approach challenges, reflect on personal and professional goals, and gain career advice and valuable insights, while mentors will build their networks and develop skills to become better professionals and leaders.
Students can use Mentor Collective's discussion guides and goal-setting activities to help spark meaningful conversations with their mentors. Topics range from time management and work-life balance to networking and job seeking advice.

Mentors and mentees are encouraged to communicate at least 1-2 times per month, although pairs can communicate more or less frequently depending on individual preferences. Pairs can communicate in person, via text, Skype, and/or phone. Mentors should log conversations in the Mentor Collective Dashboard.
