Advisement
Overview
Advisement is a critical component of the MDST Program. Students work closely with the Faculty Advisors in the development of an individualized concentration. Faculty Advisors have expertise in specific academic subject areas and are best prepared to advise students in course selection.
Once accepted into the major, students will receive their registration TAP numbers from their MDST Academic Advisor (usually this will be the student’s academic advisor for Core One). The bonds forged between students and their MDST Faculty Advisors often lead to invaluable collaborations and academic opportunities.
