Take advantage of Millersville University's scholarship portal, which offers access to thousands of properly vetted external scholarships and hundreds of internal awards!

Scholarship Universe allows you to answer questions about yourself which will help to match you to awards you can apply for. The matching questions and criteria may include GPA, credits earned, major, degree level, extracurriculars, personal identifiers, and more.

  • External Scholarships can be accessed at any time through Scholarship Universe.
  • Internal Millersville University Scholarships for the:
    • 2025-2026 apps opened December 20, 2024 and closed March 9, 2025.

PASSHE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) Foundation offers a variety of scholarships to students attending a Pennsylvania state school. Scholarships are awarded to returning students with an established GPA and an application is required. Applications must be submitted electronically through the PA Foundations' website.

Commonwealth Employee Scholarship Program

Governor Tom Wolf and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) announced a scholarship to support the educational aspirations of and provide financial support to active Commonwealth employees and their dependents to attend any PA State System of Higher Education university. There are many places you can find scholarship funding, you just need to inquire and apply! Here are some important reminders before you start your search.

  • Make sure you have reached out to your local church, clubs, employers, and other private organizations to see if they have scholarships you can apply for!
  • Utilize one of the many scholarship databases that are available to help you search for scholarships! Click the link below to access the tons of resources available.
  • If you receive a scholarship from an external source or organization, make sure you send a copy of your scholarship letter to both the Office of Financial Aid and the Office of Student Accounts so that it can be included in your awards and notated on your bill.
