Message from the Dean
Welcome to the College of Graduate Studies and Adult Learning at Millersville University! I'm pleased that you are interested in learning more about our beautiful campus, our impressive array of degree programs and certifications, and our talented faculty and students.
With a tradition of excellence and a spirit of innovation that spans half a century, we currently offer over 50 master's degrees and professional certifications across a wide variety of arts, science, education and professional disciplines. And we are actively preparing new degree programs and options to help you reach your academic and career goals and to serve our region's workforce needs. This past year has been historic for Millersville's graduate college as we launched our first two doctoral degrees in Educational Leadership and Social Work.
As an adult learner, we realize that your needs are somewhat different than our traditional undergraduate students. Our graduate programs typically feature evening courses on our convenient campus or at a growing number of off-site locations, and numerous options are available for winter session or summer study. Our focus on technology-enhanced education is continually expanding our ability to provide web-based distance education in either blended or completely on-line course formats.
The College of Graduate Studies and Adult Learning is ready to help you get started on your way. We can answer questions about the application process, the campus environment, and other issues and concerns. If you already have a plan of study in mind, please see our list of graduate program coordinators to contact those faculty members for specific program information.
We appreciate your interest in Millersville University and hope to see you as part of our family of learners. Helping you seize the opportunity to reach your professional goals through graduate study is our most important goal.
