Career Paths
General Information
An Anthropology degree prepares you for employment in a number of different fields. As a prospective employee, you need to explain how your course work, community service, inter-personal skills, and research experiences fit employers' needs. We strongly recommend that you complete an internship, conduct research with our faculty, and volunteer in the community. These enriching experiences will help you apply what you have learned in the classroom and give you professional contacts who can help you find work.
Careers in Anthropology
The American Anthropology Association dedicated a webpage to careers in the field. See http://www.aaanet.org/profdev/careers/ .
