Neuropsychology Career
Neuropsychologists have a clinical background with a biological emphasis and do assessment and testing. They explore the relationship between the brain systems and behavior. Some ways that neuropsychologists benefit people is through their study of how the brain creates and stores memories, thereby facilitating better learning in school, and how various diseases of the brain affect emotion, perception, and behavior. Thanks to neuropsychologists, there are more survivors of traumatic brain injury. They work with health teams to help brain-injured people resume productive lives.
