Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Rush received an A.B. in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College, an M.Ed. in Education and Developmental Psychology with a specialization in Early Childhood Risk and Prevention from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a Child concentration at Louisiana State University. Prior to coming to Millersville, she worked at the Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine with children with severe behavior disorders, autism and intellectual disabilities. In addition, she developed and supervised a behavioral program for children and adolescents with dual diagnoses at Sheppard Pratt Hospital on the adolescent neuropsychology unit.

Dr. Rush’s scholarly activities focus on assessments and interventions for children with autism, intellectual disabilities, social skills deficits, and other childhood disorders as well as the use of toys and games for skill building interventions
