Post-Master's Family/Individual Across the Lifespan Nurse Practitioner Option

The Post-Master's Certification Option is designed to provide individuals who already hold a Master of Science in Nursing degree with the core courses and clinical experience necessary for eligibility for family nurse practitioner certification.  Selected courses from a previous MSN program may meet requirements for the Post-Master's Family Nurse Practitioner program.

NURS 531 Clinical Management of Pediatric Populations (3 credits, 125 practicum hours)

NURS 532 Clinical Management of the Female Patient's Health (3 credits, 125 practicum hours)

NURS 533 Clinical Management of the Adult Population (4 credits, 125 practicum hours)

NURS 534 Clinical Management of the Geriatric Population (3 credits, 125 practicum hours)

NURS 535 Clinical Management of Vulnerable Populations (3 credits, 125 practicum hours)

NURS 536 Transition to APN Practice (3 credits)
