Jenny Monn, DNP, FNP-BC

Professor Monn, a BSN and MSN-FNP graduate of Millersville University, joins us from Millersville University Health Services where she was the University Nurse Practitioner.  In addition to her new tenure-track faculty position, Professor Monn is pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree at York College of Pennsylvania.  Professor Monn has been actively involved in establishing a campus-based program dedicated to educating college students about breast health.  She has been in charge of the developing and implementing the Breast-A-Ville for the past 3 years.  In collaboration with several other MU faculty and staff, Professor Monn is also conducting grant funded research about sexual risk-taking behaviors among college students.  In addition to teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, Professor Monn's interests include women's health, health promotion and education and young adult health promotion.
