Safety is Our Priority
Effective December 31, 2014, faculty, staff, volunteers and some student employees are required to obtain three background clearances as a condition of employment.  Those clearances are as follows:

• Criminal Background Check (Act 34) - A criminal history record check conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police.
• Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) - Certification from the Department of Human Services 
• FBI Federal Criminal History - Fingerprinting (Act 114)

The Office of Human Resources will provide directions for obtaining these clearances upon acceptance of an employment offer.
