The Holocaust and Genocide in Art and Film
April 18-20, 2012

Millersville University of Pennsylvania announces the 32nd Annual Conference on the Holocaust and Genocide, which will take place at the university on April 18-20, 2012. The 32nd Annual Conference will discuss the representation of the Holocaust and Genocide in Art and Film and their influence on the perception of these tragic events. The conference will analyze the relevance and accuracy of Holocaust and Genocide representations, possibilities and limitations for artistic expression, and the problem of the commercialization of these themes. The organizers of the Conference invite proposals for individual papers and panels, which focus on the depiction of the Holocaust and Genocide in literature, poetry, music, visual arts, and films.
