Graduate Assistantships
Prospective and currently enrolled graduate students who have been formally admitted into a master's or doctoral degree program have the opportunity to apply for a graduate assistantship.
Full Time Graduate Assistants
- work 20 hours per week (on average) for total of 300 hours in Fall and in Spring
- earn $6,000 annual stipend, paid out bi-weekly during Fall and Spring terms
- receive 18 credits of tuition waiver for the academic year
Part Time Graduate Assistants*
- work 10 hours per week (on average) for total of 150 hours in Fall and in Spring
- earn $3,000 annual stipend, paid out bi-weekly during Fall and Spring terms
- receive 9 credits of tuition waiver for the academic year
Graduate Assistant opportunities are designed to provide the student with relevant experiences that will help them continue to develop the skillsets of a professional. *Full-time students are eligible for a full-time GA position or 1 or 2 part-time GA positions.

April 9, 2025 Update:
Graduate Assistant applications for the Fall 2025 / Spring 2026 Academic Year are being accepted now. There are more than 50 opportunities for full-time and part-time graduate assistants across campus. Applications are being reviewed and hiring managers may reach out to schedule an interview.
Opportunities are available for review and application through the University's hiring portal, PeopleAdmin. Applicants will be asked to upload a current resume and respond to several questions. Some postings require a cover letter. Most positions require on-campus work.
