Smith digitally alters photographs from his daily life, and prints them onto fabric which he then crafts manually into objects and images from imaginary worlds that speak to themes of interconnection, growth, and the blending of digital and organic experiences. Visitors will be simultaneously immersed in Smith’s dream-like worlds and also invited to analyze and interact with his methods and will leave empowered to continue to create their own languages and strategies for the future of their and our worlds.

In recent years, artists have explored the process of enamel application with innovation and creativity. This exhibition, presented by The Enamelist Society, features artworks exploring two of the extremes available to enamelists, from cracks and underfired gritty surfaces, to matte and traditional highly finished gloss.

This exhibition celebrates the idea that meaningful conversations and creative communities can thrive between artists in far-flung places. Tiger Strikes Asteroid (TSA) is a network of independently operated, artist-run exhibition spaces with locations in Philadelphia, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Greenville, SC. Their goal is to collectively bring people together, expand connections and create community through artist-initiated exhibitions, projects, and curatorial opportunities.
