Carroll "Butch" Staub '72

• Bachelor's degree in Education with a Social Studies Major from Millersville College in 1972
• Certification in Special Education, permanent certification in Secondary Education, and a Master's in Counseling from Millersville College
• Administration certification from Penn State University in 1995
• Played intramural soccer
• Member of the Madrigal Singers
• Participated in the first All Campus Musical in the South Pacific
• Reporter, writer, and Co-Editor of the Snapper from 1970-71
• Volunteered for Millersville College immediately after graduation, generating financal support from alumni
• Served on the Millersville Alumni Association Board from 2012-2020 and from 2021-2025
• Contributed 200-300 volunteer hours annually, helping at University events, Freshmen move-in days, Homecomings, and graduations
• Provided free meals to Millersville students with food insecurities for the last ten years
• Mentored five students through the Mentor Collective Program
• Conducted mock interviews for student teachers
• Dedicated his life to public education
• Taught for 21 years in the School District of Lancaster
• Served as a Guidance Counselor at York Suburban High School for one year
• House Principal at McCaskey High School in Lancaster for eight years
• Principal at Lampeter High School for nine years
• Independent Education Contractor at Harrisburg High School for four years
• Attended many All Campus Musicals and Glorious Sounds of the Season Programs
• Lives in Millersville with his wife and has three sons and five grandchildren
• Enjoys traveling and is planning a post-COVID trip to Greece and Italy
