Required
Students are required to take
the following courses:
Introduction to African
American Studies (AFAM 201)
Senior Seminar in African
American Studies (AFAM 401)
Afro-American History I or II
(HIST 272 or 273)
Afro-American Literature I or II
(ANGL 333 or 334)

Requirements
In addition, students must take
two electives from an approved
list,one being a course at
the 300 level or above.
Two courses may not be taken from
the same discipline groupings
noted below:

Social Sciences
Science & Mathematics
