Advancement at Millersville University connects and builds community with alumni and other friends, raises funds that contribute to the University’s mission, manages University brand and reputation, as well as numerous other University functions. This mission is achieved through:

Promotional activities, events and programs that engage alumni, students, parents, faculty/staff, retirees, donors and the community with the University and build relationships with all constituencies;

• Fundraising and other resource development programs;
• Community outreach, resource management and entrepreneurial initiatives that advance University goals.

Advancement Information Services provides database management and reporting; biographical records management; prospect development; support overall fundraising efforts and provide essential infrastructure of the Advancement enterprise.

Alumni Engagement/Alumni Association seeks to engage alumni through outreach, events, volunteer and mentor opportunities.

Development/MU Foundation coordinates and manages philanthropic activities that support the University and oversees record management.

University Events specializes in detail and logistic planning for major university events such as commencement, lectureships and development related functions.
