Community Resource Guide

Campus Resources

To enhance relationship-building with our community, we offer programs, infrastructures, events, and activities open to our community members. This page provides information for community members interested in utilizing Millersville University resources, or who need information on accessing resources that are not available to the general public.

This guide will provide information on how to access and use some of our facilities that may not be open to the public. However, as a community member, you may be able to buy a pass, reserve a spot to participate, or host your next educational event. Community members may find information on how to access the Millersville University's recreation center, library, gym, and dining services. We will continue to update this page regularly to reflect updated resources and upcoming community events to choose from.

SMC Recreation Center

Community members can purchase a membership pass to participate in Intramurals and the Open Climb Hours at the Ropes Course which are available to all current MU students, faculty, and staff. External groups can schedule programs for the Ropes Course and can rent facility space. Both of which involve a contract and fee.

Library

Anyone may come into the library and use our resources within the building. However, only Millersville students, faculty, staff, retired faculty, and Millersville affiliates have complete borrowing privileges and access to databases from outside the building.

Millersville alumni may join the library as a community member for an annual fee of $25.00.  Community members may borrow up to 10 items at a time with one renewal. However, community members do not have access to Millersville Library databases outside the building.

The HUB

At the HUB, community members can take a break and drink free coffee or tea. The HUB also accepts food items and monetary donations from community members to support students and create a hunger-free campus. Learn More
