Millersville University’s bachelor’s degree in education was ranked #50 in the country by Best Accredited Colleges. MU was the only school in the state of Pennsylvania to make the list.

Carnegie Community Engagement Classification
(2020) Millersville University has been selected to receive the 2020 Carnegie Community Engagement Classification. Millersville is one of only 243 institutions in the country that now hold the elective classification. This is awarded every 10 years.
Best Value Schools
Best Value Schools recently ranked the best colleges for animal behavior programs. Millersville’s Animal Behavior Option was ranked #6.

The schools were ranked according to a matrix using key pieces of information including cost, faculty to student ratio, and graduation rate. The lower the cost and faculty to student ratio the higher that institution ranked.

Millersville University recently received four top-ranked awards for 2025 from Intelligent.com. Intelligent.com conducted a comprehensive analysis of over 3,000 colleges and universities nationwide. Each program was evaluated based on academic quality, graduation rate, cost and ROI, and student resources.
Nonprofit Colleges Online
Nonprofit Colleges Online recently ranked the top 15 most affordable animal behavior degree programs and Millersville University’s Animal Behavior Option came in #1.

Nonprofit Colleges compiled a list of the best animal behavior schools for students who want to pursue an online animal behavior degree. These animal behaviorist programs have been selected for this ranking based on a scoring system that considers the cost of tuition and the length of the program. Thet programs have also been accredited by nationally recognized accreditation boards and have had their nonprofit status verified.

Millersville University has been named to The Princeton Review's 2025 Guide to Green Schools.
