Millersville University Philosophical Society

The Millersville University Philosophical Society (MUPS) is a student organization dedicated to fostering philosophical discourse on campus. The club sponsors various events on campus including speakers, film screenings, reading groups, informal gatherings and an annual student symposium. The group also sponsors trips to lectures, conferences and other events relevant to philosophy.

Membership in MUPS is open to all students at Millersville University, regardless of major. We are dedicated to the principle that philosophy is relevant to any kind of human activity and philosophical discussion is enhanced by a diversity of voices and points of view.

The MUPS hosts a listserv to facilitate the dissemination of information about its activities as well as online philosophical discussion.
