Recording Camp

Recording Camp

The Recording Camp offers you the chance to gain hands-on experience in an exciting professional studio environment. Studio Manager Logan Ressler (Millersville '14, Berklee '21) will lead students in experiential workshops covering pre-production, engineering, producing, mixing, and much more! The course is taught in our beautiful Studio A located within the Winter Visual and Performing Arts Center and will provide students with a bevy of industry-standard tools to utilize in the creation of recorded music.

This camp provides real-world opportunities to bring your own and others' songs to life and apply your passion for music and tech in our state-of-the-art large analog-digital hybrid recording studio. Outside of industry internships, it can be exceedingly difficult to gain experience working within a large-format recording studio- this is why we provide a stress-free foundation to the recording process, with no prior experience necessary to begin. Playing an instrument and writing songs is a plus, but not required.

Who is the Camp for?

  • This camp is intended for students with limited to moderate experience in Music Technology and Production ranging from ages 14-18. No experience is needed to benefit from hands-on experience in a large-format recording studio!

  • Introduction to industry-standard production software (Digital Audio Workstations) Pro Tools.
