Are you a student who is facing undue financial hardship and in need of emergency assistance? You may qualify for the EPPIIC Student Compassion Fund. The Millersville University EPPIIC Student Compassion Fund was established by the Office of Advancement in conjunction with Student Affairs to meet the needs of our most vulnerable students.
Students who have excess financial aid beyond their charges at the university can request early access to their refund of up to $350 to help cover educational expenses such as books or other unforeseen costs.
Students who have excess financial aid beyond their charges at the university can request early access to those funds to assist with purchasing books and/or other educational expenses. There are two options available:
Tutoring Center:
The Tutoring Center offers departmental tutoring, drop-in and group tutoring delivered via Zoom Meetings.
Writing Center:
The Writing Center tutors are here to help with papers, projects, and any writing-related needs.
Academic Advising:
Your Academic Advisor is available to answer your questions. This information should be listed in your myVILLE portal. If this information is not located on your Degree Audit, please contact one of the following offices:
Success Coach:
Success coaching is a service available to all Millersville students. Success coaching can be defined as a personalized, one-on-one partnership of helping students improve their life skills and academic performance. Working with a success coach can help students overcome the different barriers to their success.
Library:
As a Millersville student, you have 24/7 remote access to Millersville's library services. Learn more about utilizing library resources, finding information, research help, and much more.

Starfish is Millersville University’s student success platform. It promotes communication between students, course instructors, faculty advisors, and staff in support of student academic achievement.
MU Center for Counseling & Human Development:
Find information on Millersville's Counseling Services available and other resources for therapy, support groups, substance abuse, suicide, and many other crisis intervention hotlines.
MU Health Services:
Millersville University Health Services provides high-quality holistic care, promoting disease prevention, and educating students on the importance of preventative health.
MU Center For Health Education and Promotion:
The Elsie S. Shenk Center for Health Education and Promotion provides lifestyle education programs, hosts awareness events, and information tables, and provides educational resources to students on a wide collection of topics including alcohol and other drugs, body image, dating violence, domestic violence, healthy relationships, safer sex, sexual assault, stalking, and stress.

Please keep in mind for financial aid purposes, your legal name will always be used on applications and when cross-referencing information in our data system.

Title IX & Sexual Misconduct Resources
The Title IV Office can assist with resources such as information on counseling, health services, or related resources, and their staff can provide warm referrals to both on- and off-campus providers. Their staff is also able to assist you in the event that you need a change in your on-campus arrangement, a No-Contact Order with another Millersville affiliate, or other accommodations related to your Title IX concern. In addition, if you want to file a formal complaint with the University, MUPD, or another Police department, the Title IX office can walk you through the options available and connect you to appropriate offices.
