Virtual Job Simulations

Millersville University's partnership with Forage supports your college-to-career transition by providing free, self-paced opportunities to explore careers roles and companies and to build valuable professional experience. Forage’s virtual job simulations are short, real world, company-backed online projects.  Project experiences are FREE and created by world-leading companies, including JPMorgan Chase, Citi, Accenture, BCG, Deloitte, General Electric, lululemon, and many more.

By completing a virtual job sim, you will:

• build practical skills top employers are seeking
• enhance your resume and interview performance
• receive a personalized certificate of completion
• gain experience for your resume and LinkedIn profile

How does it work?
Each individual project program is created by a participating company.

Once you register and choose your program of interest, you will be briefed online and will complete and submit all tasks virtually.

Simulations are available in Accounting, Banking & Financial Services, Client Services, Consulting, Data, Design, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Government & Public Policy, Healthcare, Human Resources, Insurance, Law, Life Sciences, Marketing, Project Management, Real Estate, Sales, Security, and Software Engineering.

NOTE: There are also 17 general simulations (for all majors) in the Interview and Career Skill category as well as a 5 part “short sim” called Job Application Basics (35 min) that provides exclusive insights into how to network, get experience, build your resume, and land an interview.

How long does it take?
Typically, each program takes 2 to 4 hours to complete. You can go at your own pace – and learn at any place and at any time that works for you.
