About the Exhibition ...
This mixed media body of work is the sum of material transformation and evolution, set forth by visual interaction and conversation between subjects and the environment in which they exist. Said subjects (people, places, and things) simultaneously break down and build up during the process, creating a new material reality. Each work, and each step in the work, inform and challenge the roll of itself, the next work, and the prior work. Through this dialectical exchange new material characteristics arise in the work, supporting the development of the expressionistic attributes.
