About the Exhibition ...
Foraged is a collection of works that use natural materials in the art making process. These materials are gathered from various locations and used to depict the location that they were gathered from. The use of these natural elements and pigments is to depict the location in its full integrity, even through the chosen materials. This collection of paintings, prints, and drawings aims to capture the beauty of nature in all aspects of the process.
About the Artist ...
Hannah Shreck was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania in 2003 and currently works and resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She is a BFA candidate at Millersville University and expects to graduate in May of 2025. Her work focuses heavily on landscapes and the theme of nature, with her most recent work using natural pigments to create oil paint.
