Research Interests

Brant Schuller is a printmaker, who makes sculptural prints and works on paper.

About

Schuller received a 2001 Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship in Sculpture. He has been granted two residences at the Frans Masereel Center in Belgium where he made prints that are included in the permanent collection of the Royal Art Museum, Antwerp. He was also in Residence in Japan at the Nagasawa Art Park working with masters of the Moku Hanga technique. Other collections that Schuller's work my be found in include the Frans Masereel Center in Kasterlee, Belgium; The New York Public Library, New York, New York; The Museum of Modern Art / Franklin Furnace Artist's Book Archive, New York, New York; The Joan Flasch Artist's Book Archive, Chicago, Illinois; Visual Studies Workshop Media Archive, Rochester, New York; The Lawson Drawing Collection of Austin Peay University, Clarksville, Tennessee; The Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Arkansas; University of Wisconsin, Parkside, Wisconsin; and the Banff Center, Banff, Alberta, Canada. Schuller's selected solo exhibitions have been at Anchor Graphics, Chicago, Illinois, Temple Gallery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Spaces, Cleveland, Ohio, The Society for Northern Alberta Printmakers, Alberta, Canada and Open Studio in Toronto, Canada.
