Joseph Finn Jr. '18

Freelance Videographer & Editor

“Millersville University had a profound impact on my life both personally and professionally. Transferring out from my first college after my sophomore year was a decision I did not make lightly. But it was the best decision I ever made. For my junior and senior year I found my true home away from home. I grew exponentially in my desired major, made long-lasting friendships, stayed heavily involved as a student through many clubs, activities, and events, and formed amazing connections through my talented professors that believed in my potential to succeed in life.”

MU Degree
Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication - Media & Broadcasting

What is your favorite spot-on campus?

My favorite spot on campus is the iconic Millersville pond. The serene, beautiful atmosphere along with the local swans Miller and Sville made it a fantastic attraction that I would regularly visit on weekends to recharge and unwind from all the stress of school.

What is your favorite Millersville University tradition and/or event?
My favorite Millersville University tradition is Homecoming. From watching the parade and football game with friends as a student or reconnecting with fellow Marauders as an alum, the homecoming tradition is one that truly makes MU shine brightest with school pride.

Why are you interested in staying connected and involved with MU as a recent graduate?
I am interested in staying connected with MU as a recent graduate to help share my Ville journey with fellow students and alumni to provide my support and to make a positive impact on the Marauder community. I wish to remain active with the university that gave me 2 of the best years of my life and that helped shape the proud man I became now.
