Latest Forecast
Southwesterly winds continue to usher unseasonably warm air into the Commonwealth tonight, causing clouds to increase ahead of an approaching cold front. Only a brief shower or two is expected ahead of that front between 4-9 AM Friday. The cold front will lag behind Friday's early-morning showers by several hours, so temperatures will still be around 15 degrees above normal Friday afternoon. The cold front will move through the Lower Susquehanna Valley Friday evening. Behind it, north-to- northwesterly winds will usher cooler and drier air into the region through Friday night and Saturday. A high pressure system will build into the Northeast this weekend, bringing a widespread frost Saturday night and seasonable conditions Sunday.
