Explore the Area
Lancaster County has much to offer.
You might think of Lancaster County as home of the Pennsylvania Germans, with breathtaking farmland, farmers markets and Amish buggies. That's true. But there’s much more than that.
Campus is just minutes away from downtown Lancaster City – a vibrant area filled with shops, galleries, restaurants and Central Market, the country’s “oldest continuously operated public farmers’ market.”
With its pastoral farms and natural landscapes, historical and cultural traditions, charming boroughs and myriad of opportunities for outdoor recreation, Lancaster County welcomes nearly 10 million visitors each year. For our students, the county’s resources and thriving economy serve as an exceptional backdrop for their academic and co-curricular experiences. While we prepare our students for the world, they find a perfect fit right here.
