Our Community
Community is about feeling at home
Freshmen and sophomores are required to live on campus if not commuting from home. Trained resident advisers staff the wings in each of our 9 halls and sponsor activities to foster a sense of community. All residence halls are equipped with electronic card access devices.
Upperclassmen can select from a variety of options offered by Student Lodging, Inc. that are adjacent to campus, or they may choose to live in private housing.
For in-depth information please visit the University Housing and Conference Services full website.
Marauder Spirit
The Marauder spirit is found in the men and women who compete in 19 intercollegiate sports, and in the faculty, staff, fellow students and neighborhood fans who cheer them on. Information on how to become a Marauder Athlete is on the Athletics website.

Community Service
Community service (volunteering) and service-learning are great ways to get out into the community. By working with community organizations, leaders, volunteers and participants you'll enhance your classroom learning with experiences that expand your boundaries and challenge your assumptions about the world around you. You can develop career-related skills, or use abilities and interests that may not relate to your major. You may even discover new talents! All while making the community and the world a better place.
