Office of Sustainability

The Office of Sustainability advances sustainability within and beyond Millersville University’s campus gates by integrating sustainable principles and practices into University operations, academics, and activities. The Office of Sustainability is a resource nested within the Office of Finance and Administration that is available to Millersville’s faculty, staff, and students to help coordinate, implement, and promote campus sustainability projects.

Sustainability Manager

Steuer

Mr. Chris Steuer is Millersville University's Sustainability Manager. He is responsible for coordinating and advancing Millersville’s sustainability initiatives and programs, including the University’s Climate Action Plan, and for incorporating sustainable management principles into University activities and operations. Previously, Mr. Steuer was a Senior Sustainability Management Consultant for ICF, wherein he helped developed sustainability programs for the National Park Service, Environmental Protection Agency, and U.S. House of Representatives, among others.

Sustainability Ambassadors

ambassadorsMillersville's Sustainability Ambassadors work within the Office of Sustainability to encourage sustainable living practices within the residence halls, integrate sustainable principles and practices into campus events and activities, and educate other students about Millersville's sustainability efforts.
