The SHARP Team

About the SHARP Team

Millersville University's Office of Undergraduate Admissions employs a team of students to help admissions recruit prospective students.  Students Helping Admissions Recruit Prospects (SHARP) Team members consist of tour guides, student ambassadors, lead student ambassadors, a graduate assistant and the assistant director of admissions, all who conduct campus tours and represent Millersville at recruitment events. They are eager to assist students and families navigate the campus and surrounding communities during their campus visit. SHARP Team members are able to provide prospective students with a look into what life would be like as a student on campus at Millersville University.

What to Expect

Each SHARP Team member receives comprehensive trianing before giving campus tours.  Hours are flexible and students are paid at an hourly rate.  In addition to the Graduate Assistant, each tour guide also has a Lead Student Ambassador (LSA) who can help answer questions and provide leadership opportunities.
