Education programs are the heart and the heritage of Millersville University. The Normal School founded in 1855, the first to prepare Pennsylvania's teachers, has become Millersville University, and the College of Education and Human Services houses today's dynamic programs.

By offering the majority of courses in the University's general education program, which every MU student completes, and by enrolling well over a third of all MU students in the College's majors, the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences is at the heart of liberal learning at Millersville.

The College of Science and Technology at MU has a long history of providing students with the rigorous education needed for success in contemporary scientific and mathematical fields. Multidisciplinary Studies

Millersville University offers an innovative undergraduate major in Multidisciplinary Studies, a program of study that permits students under close faculty supervision to customize their major. Within a structured curriculum, the MDST major is centered in the arts and sciences and constitutes 39 credit hours of interdepartmental study that includes a capstone experience. Learn More!
