International Studies Degree & Minor Program

International Studies Degree & Minor Program

The 21st century has shown us that interdisciplinary and cross-cultural studies are extremely important in our world. Our lives are increasingly entwined with the lives and events of people halfway around the globe. National and international organizations, governments, and businesses, in both the public and private sectors, have increased their demand for students who have an understanding of the complex international community.

The International Studies program offers both a Bachelor of Arts degree and an interdisciplinary minor.  International Studies provides students with a valuable global perspective and the skills needed to pursue a future career and/or higher degrees in the areas of:

  • Government
  • Teaching
  • Communication
  • Non-Profit
  • Law
  • Journalism
  • Business
  • And many others
