Under the guidance of dedicated faculty from the Department of Art & Design, who are recognized experts in their respective fields, you will gain the confidence, knowledge and skills for a successful career in fine arts, art education or graphic and interactive design.

Students in the Department of Communication & Theatre engage in the study of human communication, learn how to analyze and critique human efforts to communicate, and practice the applications of that knowledge to real world communication challenges.

The Department of Criminology, Sociology, and Anthropology explores the intricacies of human life through Sociology, the scientific study of human interaction and social organization, and Anthropology, the holistic approach to human history in various regions and time periods.

The Department of Economics is designed for students who are serious about solving world problems such as inequality, poverty and illiteracy by examining the economics of international trade, health care, national security, the environment and more.

The Department of English & World Languages is a large and vibrant interdisciplinary community of faculty and students dedicated to the study of language, literature, text and writing.

The Department of Government, Policy, and Law prepares students for active citizenship, careers and advanced training in politics, law and related fields on both the national and international scale.

In addition to offering a wide range of courses in United States and European history, the History department encourages students to diversify their study through explorations of Africa, Latin America, the Atlantic, the Middle East, violence, women and the Holocaust.

With available majors in music education, music business technology and performance, the Tell School of Music proves that a degree in music can make for an enjoyable college experience and a wise career choice. Students develop the highest level of musicianship in the classroom and in the field.

Many academic disciplines are linked to philosophy thematically and conceptually, making the study of this field relevant to a wide variety of career paths. The Department of Philosophy helps student establish a strong grounding in the history of philosophy as well as training in philosophical analysis and writing.
